I think that just to annoy people who say "Look!!! There is a pixel of color out of the lines!!!" the artists should have at least one dog that is so out of the lines it's funny.

On the Nick b-day dragons, the insides of their ears match their fur, thus making their ears hard to see XD kind of a duh though

I think that's just a horn. And the mane behind it. Otherwise the color and tufts of the fur would be at the very base.
