So, I'm running an auction, right. I have the pets in a 'for-auction' group, separate from my trades which all have 'trade' in the title. I have rules against offering for things not in trades, you know how it goes. Well, in the auction itself, I specifically requested that people don't send trades. I stated that it just bothers me and I'd rather a post or PM. Well I get a trade for a pet in auction, with the message of :

Would you like to trade?

verbatim, offering 2 08 Octobers and a staff pup for the Blue Balloon dog. I cancel with a haiku because I thought it'd be humorous but also let them know why I'm canceling.
Well I get a PM with

That was my bid in auction. -.-
I find it hard to keep track of auctions so I either PM or send trade asking to trade but never mind.

Where did they say it was for the auction?! And they broke my rules anyway. They could just as easily PM'd me, but now they're acting like I'm the jackass because I didn't have the mind-reading skills necessary to decipher that 'trade' means 'this is my non-rule-breaking bid in your auction'.

just recieved a rant-worthy trade. I just updated my wishlist with like every dog I miss and some other pets I miss. I wrote in my trade rules:

Please keep in mind: I will NOT give anything for a pet just because it's on my wishlist. It still has to be fair.

and now this:
and (yes, I miss them, didn't adopt when they where out...)
for my rare spider bun from halloween. I mean, come on... thats not even close...

I have someone who offered a lot of the uncommons off my wishlist for my SunJewel. I cancelled, telling them to read my rules, and they send me a PM saying:
"29 pixels for 1 pixel.. nice..."

Soo.... that trade I got a few pages ago .... I can't decide what to put as a witty cancel message. I'm thinking about asking what "safe eyes" is suppost to mean, or something of that sort. I just can't think of a funny way to put it.

I traded way too much for my UR purple horse. I was losing an auction, when someone else traded me one for my offer. I even traded away a Halloween 08 cat, which I now hear might've even got me an August 08. -_- That really annoyed me, as that's the only month I don't have a pet from. What really annoys me is that I've gotten two of those cats really cheaply, and traded both away on crappy trades. I doubt another one will be coming my way any time soon, with my rare trade folder in its crippled state. Stupid horse. It doesn't even look that nice. >.>

I probably would have yelled at them for insulting the awesome epicness of the pixels. Its the rarity of the pizels that counts, not the fact that its: "Just a pixel"

Anyway, I have had somebody send me soo many trades that they made me put them on my foe list >.> About 2 of the trades they offered a 2009 Dec 28th re-release July White growing dog, and wanted the same thing in return, except mine was from 2008 Dec 18th, 'cause they "couldn't wait for it to grow" -.- Plus offering a July '08 speckled rat two or three times (too lazy to look and see exactly how many they sent the trade) that I already have, that I clearly told them I already have I don't know how many times >.>

That sucks. If I find another one and you still dont have it we can trade... alright? (Maybe not even for a rare pet lol)

I hate when that happens. D: That is the sole reason that I prefer not to participate in auctions. In the heat of the moment, you try to think of anything you can do to beat the competitor... and then, when you win, you find out that it was a bad deal. If I had an extra of the cats, I'd give it to you. :3 I got mine for a May '09 and a September '09.
