I know it's a sad story, but it makes me so happy to know that people care about animals even when they're not going to make it. ;_; You certainly deserve the wings, that's an awesome thing to do for cats.

That reminded me of my dog's story ;-; even though we didnt rescue her or anything. She lived a great life, and did great things.

The story of my Bumble Bee:
It started in Summer of last year. I do some online volunteer work for a shelter in Kentucky. They are great people who think every animal that comes in deserves every chance to get a home. Most shelters will put to sleep the ferals, bad breeds, injured, etc.

Bumble had been hit by a car and left for dead. The shelter workers went to pick him up. He was pretty messed up and they rushed him to the vet. Even in as much pain as he was in, he was still the sweetest kitty. The vet removed the top of one of his back legs and the ball of his hip. He was doing ok and I decided to adopt him.

Once we were able to set up transport, we planned to drive to pick him up. He started getting sick a week before we fot him. We drove about 7 hours to get him on August 1st.

He went to the vet and his injury by the car had caused some brain injuries. He was having almost constant seizures. Everything had to be done for him. Feeding, drinking, peeing, pooping... it was constant care. If I was going to be gone for longer than 2 hours, I had to take him with me.

On August 17th, he passed away in my arms. Even though I only had him for such a short time, he had his paws wrapped tightly around my heart.

I had a bunch of customs of him done here on CS on the art section. I've been bugging the item suggestion board for more items, especially wings, that would fit the warrior cat lineart. I then found an orange tabby that was adopted on the day Bumble Bee died. He is my prized posession. No dogtags, moonswirls, URs or anything would get him from me.

So finally a friend of mine, Ricorn, took mercy upon me and made me a set of angel wings for my angel kitty. Please dont bug mods for custom items.

I remember your story...I drew an entry for your memorial contest for him a while back! The wings really suit him Ricorn is so awesome XD!

I haven't seen any new customs. There are a number of people that don't want their customs known though, which is usually the case when someone finds a new one. :/
