Some cases of love happen out of no where, and then they fall apart right before your eyes. Mine did.<3
Sarah and Dylan
I look up to see him coming towards me. I smile, I had waited forever for this. He smiles back in return, as he sits beside me and looks into my eyes.
A year later..
I can't take this anymore. I just can't.
He was neglecting his own family. Me. His two sons and two daughters. He acted like he didn't want anything to do with us. Maybe he didn't..&
Hannah & Claire
All of my children were practically fatherless now. "Dylan? Could you please help me set the table?" I ask him, and his reply made me want to get it over with and leave him. "You do it you, lazy pig!" He yells in response. He was sitting on the couch watching some stupid games highlights with a bag of potato chips and a can of soda-pop. I try to not act bewildered as I walk into Hannah and Claire's room.
"Mommy, why has dad been acting the way he has been lately?" Claire asks me, and though she was turning thirteen soon, she still liked to call me 'mommy' because 'mom' didn't sound right to her and 'daddy' wasn't what she though her father of anymore. "I-I... Don't know, sweetie." I tell her as small tears start to well up in my eyes. I wipe them away as she and Hannah step forward to hug me. I wrap my arms around them both and start to cry silently.
Should I continue? :3

"No!" a shrill whinny was heard through the stables. The mare, her golden amber eyes flashing, struggled and fought her way through the humans. The other horses gave excited neighs, as they watched their most beloved mare fling herself after the truck that was carrying away her precious and only son. Tears brimmed in her eyes, as the humans shouted many curses at her.
She galloped with grace, never stopping. "Kiowa!" hollered the humans repeatedly. But she never stopped to look back. She easily knew what was about to happen to her son. He had been too weak in the farm, and the humans weren't able to sell him because he was so puny and feeble. So, they had no need for him in this world. They were going to put him into a death's rest, where no human would ever have to feel so disgraced for having to own him.
Kiowa let tears slide down, as dust from the truck covered her sight. She brayed hoarsely, dust fogging her throat so that it wasn't clear. She was going to get her son, no matter what. Berlioz had been abandoned by his father, and never had any support. No support except his only mare; his mother.
And he wasn't aware of what was going to happen to himself. Kiowa closed her eyes, and screamed a neigh, following the truck with all of her might. She pushed harder, her hooves pounding against the ground.
And, with her remaining strength, persevered. She finally was close enough to the truck, seeing the slaughter house just in the distance. She pushed herself against the gate in an attempt to crush it into pieces. She was not going to allow her son to die. She had seen other of her beloved friends die because of the wretched system, and she would refuse to allow them to do it to her only bundle of joy in the despaired world of hers.
But, suddenly, her attempts seemed to drain out. The truck stopped in the entrance of the building, and unloaded Berlioz. Berlioz stuttered out, crying out for his mother. He glanced around, before seeing his mother racing over to him. A gun was loaded, but Kiowa had jumped in front of her young stallion.
There was a boom. It had happened all at the same time; all so sudden; that even the humans were startled. They glanced down to see the two horses who had been shot down together.
It was a remarkable sight. The mother, dead with her stallion, had her neck on his shoulder, and they seemed to be connecting hooves.Just reposting for comments. c:
