My favorite memory (that, ironically, brings mixed feelings) is the time when the feature of sending pets to other users was first introduced.

I was one of the first to open an adoption center and continued it until early 2010. And wah, I still remember some of my loyal adopters from 2008 and 2009 ;u; happy times~

... of course, I adopted out, what, over 20 september leopards and many more tessa cake dogs and many other pets from 2008 through 2009 and I'm pretty sure the oldest 25 pages of my trading history are packed with adoption trades (but the maximum number of pages shown is 100, so I can't confirm that) and the trade history system was only introduced in november 2008 and we could start giving away pets in september oh god what if I had just kept all of those pets...

I remember back before there were accounts, and I had so many OMGSRs on my Petz 5 fansite that I die a little inside every time I see them, and know they'll never be mine

I remember that I also judged pets on looks. ^^ Even when they did have rarities, I still judged them by their looks until mid/late 2009(ish). I remember I deleted a Rose PPS and a Black Advent I had adopted because I didn't like them at the time. xP

Same here, haha. I judged pets only on the look. I gladly didn't do many 'fail trades' during that time, though. but still. Px

I did as well I deleted ALL my cake dogs x-x boy do I miss them now =C

I remember when I used Oekaki to make a picture of Totoro when he got his birdbath, and Tess commented on it c:
It totally made my day, and I'm still glad I actually got her attention. It ain't that easy now~

I also remember all of the horrible trades I made.
They make me flinch, but I gave away some valuable freebies that hopefully made others' days...

Same here. I deleted most of my '08s - because 'who needs doubles', right? - and those who somehow got preserved from my destructive hand were traded for one '11 pet each after I returned to CS. x_X

Does anyone else remember how bwolves were the least wanted species as there was only one no-adoption-limit litter available? I still recall those "I'm not interested in any Butterfly Wolves nor 2nd gens"s signs slapped onto trade threads. xD Can't believe so many of them have turned rare already... -nostalgic-

OMG this. I remember those 2nd-gen projects with slogans: "don't delete your 2nd-gens, give them away!". Only hoarders wanted them.

Haha, I remember the "Do not adopt" warnings. That's the major reason I made my "Beginner's Guide to Butterfly Wolves" so newer people would understand that (At that point) -some- butterfly wolves had value. Which between you and I, I think they all had value! And still do, and am glad they were retired and allowed to gain their rating value to go with them. ^_^

I kinda miss my guide though, but I do have to say, I think Chry is doing a bang-up job! I just couldn't/can't handle keeping up with things any longer. Ahh, to the good old days!

Ah, my gosh! So many memories of the early days. I remember the first litter of monthly caterpillarcubs coming out, and my friend SilverKunama had to tell me that it was more then just a one time only special ^^ Wow, I feel old now.
