I'm no expert, but I'd say unfair to you, those two are older and the Cheshire cat I feel would be in more demand than the recent dog. I'd say it comes down to how much you want the dog.

Rarity wise, it's definitely unfair to you, however if you value the BMD at a balloon dog, it would be unfair to them.
Chesire cats just go for around a midadvent on average, so that doesn't make that much of a difference c:

Please don't give false advice! I know this is my trade, but the dog is valued main list! It's a 2008 and booming in demand! Please don't listen to this though bella! I'm saying this for him!

Please don't give out false advice. The BMD is only a september list, worth 5 midadvents. Demand is userbased. Honestly, it's demand has actually been dying down recently if anything c:
