Why do people think that just because they put "Caps Lock" on that we'll edit and give them the pet? Why do people order us around in "Caps Lock"? My rant......I hate Caps lock....

My rant of the evening is people who have pets that aren't valuable in a trade group called "auctions" or something of that ilk. Why would they have an auction for a pet that isn't worth much at all, such as a dragon dog from the faire or a common rare? I come across this a lot and these people don't even post their auctions in the auction section of the forums. They just label the pet "auction" throw it in an unlocked folder and make a thread in the trade forum. Do they really expect huge bids to suddenly start pouring in for their pets that they are extremely over valuing? Why not just put the pet in a trade group and trade the pet off in a fair trade?

First of all, the dark leopard alone is worth more than the bat dog-second, the cerberus is worth an advent, third the PeaPS I've seen go for early '09 rares, and fourth, the PeaPS and Cerberus are in a NFT group. Ugh, people...WHY?

Perhaps closing said "NFT" group may help.
And maybe sending the trade back with a more fair swap on your side would have been prudent.

Exactly. I actually have in my very few rules to not state that something is your dream pet. When someone says "THAT'S MY DREAM PET!!!!" I get super annoyed and don't feel like trading them. It annoys me how many people have a "Dream Pet." Don't get me wrong, people who actually have a pet that they would like to obtain and try to get it at all costs is fine, but when you have 600 dream pets, that's annoying. If I have a dream pet, I post it in the final message when I am accepting the trade saying something like "Thank you so much, this is a dream pet of mine and you helped me get it =]" But I do not even bring up "Dream pet" in the entire trade because I don't want to make people feel guilty or obligated to trade it to me. If I wanted the pet that bad, I'd copy and paste its picture on a PAINT program and put it as my background screen saver.

I noticed that, too. I do admit I don't go to the trade section a lot, but when I do, I see these "auction" threads, and when I look in them, I see nothing valuable and them asking to extremely over pay. I literally always see them, and link them to my friend on facebook (who is also on here), telling her "do they really think they'll actually get offers?"

I can get them not being in the right section, but asking for, say, a 2010 or 2009 pet.. for a not-so-hard-to-find 2011 pet... I really don't get that (unless it were from a new newbie).

this^^ especially when they're asking for a 2011 uncommon for less than it's worth.

I got tired of people using the "it's my dreamie" line on everything, and expecting to get it for underpay. i actually made it a rule that if they did that i expected major overpay. i haven't had anyone use the line since xD

Maybe I should try that! But, if you look at my rules, people still dont follow them! Right there in BOLD LETTERS it says what I DO want and what I DONT want. Take a quick look at them. Is it that hard to not follow D:
