it looks so adorable XD too me it doesn't look like Egyptian. the colour on the back reminds me of henna, but the pattern on the neck doesn't look henna-ish to me. it just looks like a spiderweb.

I was thinking more along the lines of it being a goddess when I saw the kitten stage. The patterns look a bit like jewellery, which was what made me think that. Oh well, we'll know sooner or later. xD
