Hi, jumping in super late to the conversation.

1. The concept of pound exclusive pets is really
awesome.

2. I agree that it's probably a good idea to have a timed "pending" stamp if there's an additional "are you sure?" question - otherwise it's just adding another layer of difficulty.

3. Maybe this is a long shot, but I do wonder how traffic the chickensmoothie discord page adds to the whole thing - maybe nothing significant, but I've been curious since joining how much of the lagging is caused by more people getting a notification directly to their phones for the pound opening, leading to more people being there the moment it opens.

i do think that if they do do this they should have something special to them tho, to differentiate them from all the monthly litters of the same rarity, like a unifying theme of sorts

basically if we do get pound exclusives i don't want them to be yet another horse with a pretty pattern i want it to be a horse with a slightly more interesting pretty pattern

no fancy line-edits or anything just something to make them feel special

Wouldn't it be an idea to track down if there actually are people using bots? And ban them from pound or something (maybe CS altogether but i leave that up to the high up people to decide)
Last pounds had roughly 30 rare and up. Does anyone have acces to see in who adopts what? Because 30 names is overseeable, you could put every pound next to eachother and see if any names pop up of people getting rares and up every time.

For the functions of the pound, honestly i don't have a worthwhile opinion ahah, i always forget it exists and seem to mostly see it closed. I should really use it more. Maybe i would indeed, if there was some pound exclusives! it'd be a fun challenge to get.

i think something like pound-exclusive pets would be neat! i don't know where the best place to pitch the idea for attention is, but if a suggestion is ever made i'll absolutely drop my support. c:

I personally do not see any point in adding "pound exclusives" to fill out the pound.

first off; what makes them even exclusives? once people adopt enough of them they will just start filtering into the trade circulation and they will become a regular of a sight as any other pet. "but it's an exclusive pet" I hear you say. aren't ALL pets exclusives? we get them for one month, or holiday event, and then they retire! only way to get them is to either trade with other people or nab one from the pound. what's the point of making even MORE pets that will end up the exact same way?

the pound is a chance for you getting a WL, or maybe even nab yourself a rare, and that's all the reason for the pound to be exciting enough. adding "exclusives" literally serves no purpose here other than being more lions the trade community can overprice.

^^^the only way I can see this working is if they were for April fools or something and were the *only* thing available in the pound for a day, so that everyone could get one if they wanted. Or if it was like previous pound gags where they just . Weren’t actual pets. Like the joker chair or whatever it was
