she was rare --> uncommon --> rare --> again uncommon... what next month? again rare?

It seems to be like that with a few of the pets that were mentioned only yesterday. Two days ago they were uncommon, then yesterday rare, and today back to uncommon. x_x

i noticed also the sheep rat (whats other litter mates are lion rats) become rare again

(it turned down when new rarity charts commed )

Oh and this turned back to rare : )


(it was very rare last month when someone asked the very rare rainbow dogs and that was one :3 not anymore )

I think its fluctuating because now rarity is based on the number of pets per active accounts. So as people stop playing CS or start playing again and they have large numbers of some pets, it changes the ratio of pets per accounts.

Yeah, but I was told Nick still updated it by hand every month, not automatic updates unless they were wrong. o_o

Well, I assumed all the pets are calculated at each update, even if they are done by hand. Maybe a lot of inactive users started playing again for the Candy hunt, so some pet numbers went up as the accounts became active again and when the rarities were calculated (by hand) it changed the ratios.
