anyways, question for you all:
what do you think is the hardest to obtain species collection on cs, and which would you say would be the easiest?
i know each collection is difficult in it's own right, but i'd just like to know your opinions c:

Dogs and warriors I think share the top spot in my opinion. People get really, ridiculously protective over warriors and in fact almost all of the older sitting cats. Dogs, however, make up most of the list so in rarity terms are most difficult to obtain to complete a collection.

The easiest is probably chickens. They have quite low demand (if you exclude the 'hoarding' demand that always accompanies low demand pets - i.e. people think they can get them for tuppence so they create massive hoards) and they were released not that long ago, so many of them are recent and low rarity.

Well I think you forgot about the UR Chicken. Or Phoenix. It has crazy demand.

Abandoning my main collections to try and get some lists and dreamies. I'll come back to them one day i'm sure.

Decided to add Bats to my WL. I'm only missing th UC ones now which is awesome. (:
I will soon own all bats! <3 Then on to spiders.

Still struggling with the pps kitten collection though. /: People love those PPS!

I agree to most you said. Also I think lions and dragons are tricky as well.

The easiest for me is ponys I just started to collect them and am only missing 42 of them. For chickens I think the UR Chicken is really hard to obtain otherwise they are very easy.

What is/are your goals on CS?
Collect all the hamsters, which is an easy goal for now, since this month was the first hamster litter and I got like ten of each of two of the halloween hamsters. It's not a hard goal, but I like these hamsters and since I have given up getting all pets on CS, I just decided to go with something easy that I loved.

How close are you to completion?
Completed.

How long have you worked on this goal?
1 day, but as I said, not a hard goal.

I just want to obtain one of every pet. More specifically, I'd also like to try and complete all my event collections first.

Oh jeez, my WL is at about 40 pages right now? So, pretty flippin' far away.

How long have you worked on this goal?
Let's see, I joined CS in 2009 but I was a innocent little newb and I ended up being scammed out of all my decent pets, like my moonswirl and all my warriors. I got active again in 2011 and got serious about collecting.

So I managed to get about twelve more buns for my bunny collection this December, including a couple off the advent list! Still no headway in trading down so that I can get a UR Butterbun or a Joker bun though.

What is/are your goals on CS?

I have 3 collections
1. complete warrior cat line art
2. complete summer event collection
3. complete card dog set

How close are you to completion?

1. number wise I'm about halfway, though at the moment I'm trying to collate pets of a high enough value to trade for the 2008 UR cat
2. Pretty close, I was off CS for 2012 and 2013 though, so I just need to make them up
3. I may have forgotten about this one... I'm 2/5 but missing the joker so....

How long have you worked on this goal?

1. This one has been kinda there since I first went on CS, I was a huge fan of warriors and so it just seemed natural to trade for them, the UR 2008 cat has also been a dreamie of mine since the very start (alas poor yorrick, I was a way too ambitious dreamer...). It only became an official collection (that also focused on the non warrior characters) about a month ago I think...
2. Every summer event I've attended I've strived to get a full set (I have the thing for sets...), but I only collated them about a month ago as well
3. This one started when I got the Queen of Clubs in the advent giveaway last year (I think) and has just kinda sat there ever since
