Obscura {m} xx {f} Trello
I saw her for the first time as I rested in a gnarled old tree, branches covered with hanging lanterns. Her fur was illuminated by the eerie glow, red and oranges danced over her body in harmony. I reclined more deeply in the branches of my tree, obscuring myself from her view. She moved quietly to the lanterns gracing the most outward of limbs, pushing them away and slipping inside the tree's cover. Moving through the labyrinth of branches blocking her way, it was evident she had no idea I was here.
Such a foolish child, there is a reason they call it the Demon's Tree.

vixen {f} ----------------- decleria {?} ----------------- {m} inu
; part one ;
"Well? What is your name? Or are you unable to speak?"
The small creature beside her seemed to laugh once more as though to echo her previous statement regarding the creatures lacking intelligence. The girl was still smiling, though the creature didn't respond. He knew that she could see him, as her lantern illuminated the entirety of the alleyway; yet something made him wonder if she had been able to see him before that time. His voice was scratchy, harsh, though he didn't intend it to be. He just hadn't spoken in so long, and for the longest time, he hadn't known if he would have been able to speak at all. Perhaps he had lost the ability years before.
"I'm the creature of the dark. I'm the creature you hate, and you see only when you fear. You see me only when you don't wish to, and for every tear shed I merely grow stronger."
The girl laughed once more, shaking her head with a continued smile. "And you expect me to believe that? I know that you haven't spoken for quite some time. Yet I held a faith that you would have far greater things to admit. So, since you seem to refuse to tell me your name, I suppose that I shall speak first. You may feel free to call me what you like I suppose. I'd respond to thief, villain, or even the one who hides herself in the shadows and her lies. But, the name is Vixen. Now, I ask again. What is yours?"
Now, the creature was startled. He often frightened people. Merely seeing him often scared one away, yet this girl seemed different. Why did she feel no fear?
"Inu. At least, that was what the last person who I spoke to chose to call me."
The faerie creature had not yet spoken yet its wings fluttered once more in a manner that made him question its thoughts, but it seemed to watch him with a suspicious smile as it glanced aside at Vixen once more. "Well mistress, do you believe that we should tell him?"
The creature glanced between the two, his eyes finally widened in their gaze as they revealed a startling blue. He seemed to question, though he said nothing, and finally after a long and never ending silence, Vixen spoke once more.
"Oh, I suppose so Decleria. But it seems like such a bore to end this charade so quickly."
So, the creature's name was quite obviously Decleria. With a slight laugh, the faerie creature returned its gaze to Inu followed shortly by the gaze of Vixen herself.
Inu's gaze traveled wildly between the two as he awaited one to speak;
"We have been hired."
Well, that clarified little.
"Hired for what?" The agitation in his voice was evident as he stood at the edge of the alleyway, his back to the street through which no cars seems to travel.
"Hired, to steal your heart's fire. Your soul."

Sheila{f}.................Tappy{f}
There might be something outside your window
Tappy was laying on her bed, reading. She heard a tap, tap, tap on her window pane. She went to go look, but nothing was there.
You just... never know
TAP, TAP, TAP! There's the tapping again Tappy thought, but it seemed more intense now. She looked outside again, but again, nothing was there.
There might be something just past the turnpike gates
TAP, TAP, TAP! The tapping sounded like someone was throwing themselvs against the window. Tappy had enough, and she went over to the window, threw it open, and yelled: "WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" A head appered out of the darkness. "Sorry sis. Mum locked me out"
You just.... Never know
Lolollololol, Fail xD

She was hunched on the cold steps, her bright red pixie hair falling into her dark eyes as she huddled into the blue bandana around her neck. She clutched a lit cigarette in her quivering hands and took an occasional pull on it, the smoke curling around her face.
He was leaning against the dirty brick wall, hat pulled low over his ears. He was watching the girl on the steps, his large, sky blue eyes fixed upon the flickering orange glow of her cigarette. When he pushed himself away from the wall, the bangles around his wrist clanked against each other with a bell-like ring that drew the girl's head up. She stared at him as he crossed the street at a leisurely pace, a small black cat trotting after him.
Her voice was harsh with smoke and disuse when she spoke, eyes suspicious. "Who are you?"
"I am no one, and I am everyone."
He gave her an enigmatic smile, tilting his head so his black hair fell out of his eyes. She scoffed, knocking the ash off her cigarette as she tapped it against her black combat boots.
"Oh really?"
He didn't answer; he just leaned in and picked up a lock of her hair, twisting it around his finger before letting it fall back to rest against her face. She didn't protest, leaning into his hand like a cat. Her dark eyes followed his hand as it dropped to her neck, long fingers deftly undoing the knot of her bandana. He gently tugged it off to reveal the silver locket underneath.
"Hello, Leopardess."
She inclined her head. "Grimalkin."
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small scroll of paper covered in dark, spidery writing. She streched up and took it out of his hand, her fingers lingering over his (a second too long) before she tucked it into the inner pocket of her jacket.
He gave her a slow, sad smile. "You know we can't."
She stood up abruptly, narrowly avoiding stepping on the cat weaving between her legs. She tossed her hair from her face and gave him an icy smile. "Believe me, I know." As she strode roughly past him, she kept her face rigidly blank.
He watched her go, his eyes filled with a deep longing. He raised the bandana still held loosely in his hand to his face. He inhaled deeply, feeling her lingering warmth and filling his nostrils with the scent of her- cigarette smoke and something sweeter.
It was only when she crossed the darkening street did she feel a single tear slip past her control and slide down her face.

Kinta {f} ---- Zach {m}
(more of a friendship story)
She dipped her toes into the water, watching Zach playfully splash around. "Zach," She clenched her teeth, glaring into the pool water. "How can you stand this water? Its freezing." Zach chuckled and put his hands up on the edges of the pool, ready to get out. "Easily," he laughed, getting out of the sparkling water. He began to walk towards the waterslide. "Just jump in, get warm, then meet me at the top of the waterslide."
Kinta rolled her eyes to the top of the waterslide, then she spotted Zach. He was already halfway up the stairs.
She sighed, and stuck her toes out of the pool. She stretched her arms, cracked her knuckles, and got up. She rolled down to the deep end and dove into the freezing waters. Kinta soon emerged out of the cold water, wiping the water from her eyes and face. Her fur was wet and cold. She swam to the edge of the pool and stood there, wet, cold, and alone. Zach yelled from the top of the waterslide, "Come on! Your slower than molasses in January!"
"Im coming, im coming! Hold your horses!" Kinta yelled back, seeing as they were the only two in the pool besides their parents, then got out of the pool. She strut to the stairs and slowly let her hand drop to the rail, and her feet were up the first step. She stampered up halfway now, and was clear of the top of the waterslide.
When she was at the top, Zach smiled and sighed with relief. "I thought you died halfway up the stairs," He laughed. Kinta let that one slide. "Your so slow."
"And your immature." Kinta hissed.
"How am I immature? All I said you were so slow I thought you died." He thought that over a couple of times. Kinta rolled her emerald eyes, and glared into the tunnel. The slide was a large tunnel, spinning around once, twice, three times then opened up into the water. The water wasnt very deep, so it was safe for children 6+.
Zach laughed. "Wanna go as a 2 person train?" He smiled.
"Are we allowed to?" Kinta asked, unsure of his suggestion.
"I dunno, the rules didnt say anything about more than one person at once on the slide." He assured Kinta.
But she still wasnt sure. "Well, it should, but I guess." She gave in.
"Great!" Zach said excitedly and stepped onto the platform into the slide.
He sat carefully, and slid into the slide a little. "Put your hands and feet on the sides of the slide; it makes you go really slow. Its hilarious." Zach laughed, resting his hands on the top of the slide and his feet on the bottom sides.
"I dont know... Im kinda scared, Zach. Ive never been on a waterslide thats a... well... a tunnel." Kinta stammered.
"Its okay," Zach said understandingly. "I was scared my first time. I bet everyone was. If you have to scream, just scream. No one else is here, and our parents wont care if we scream. But if you dont HAVE to scream, but want to, laugh. Thats the best way. Ill even scream or laugh with you." He assured Kinta.
Kinta nodded and stepped behind Zach on the slide, and sat. "Slide down a little." Kinta said, and Zach slid down a little.
Luckily, the sides of the slide on the top werent wet so it was easy to stop. Zach stopped a little ways down, enough for Kinta to rest her hands and feet. She rested her hands and feet in place, and they counted down. "Are you sure about this, Kinta? You dont have to."
Kinta took a deep breath. "Yes. Im sure." She said. Zach nodded.
"5.." Kinta and Zach said together. "4...3...2..." They started sliding. "1!" And they whooshed down into the tunnel. Kinta screamed and laughed a little. Zach didnt scream, but he laughed with her. It was about 15 seconds before they emerged into the pool, their parents clapping. Kinta was so proud that she did it.
She finally did what she wasnt able to for a month. Zach just made her feel better. She could always trust him.
Always. He would never tell a lie to Kinta.
