Staff Litter 2024 Discussion Thread

Concept! Care to confirm or deny that these things are potential hints?
- Your interests state, "They share one color." If this is a hint, I assume this is in reference to last year's staff pet and this year's staff pet sharing a color (probably green).
- Your signature has a sprout on either side of the fox. If this is a hint, then I am guessing your pup is plant related.

I'm not sure what the 3rd hint is if the prior 2 are hints. I think you're signature is the same and I have no clue if your stamp collection is relevant.

Adding onto fluffystar's potential hint collection, Concept also has a group of the April 2024 alien cat stores that's labeled differently from every other group, simply titled "Mars". Maybe this is a clue to the name/theme, or maybe it's just a group that wasn't sorted yet x3

You guys are fast! Both of Fluffy's are clues, you have a great eye for that, and excellent intuition! There's only one remaining and it's very VERY simple

The group is unfortunately not a clue, haha. It's just a joke between me and a friend that isn't on the site. Incredible detective work though! I'd forgotten all about that group

I wasn't trying to be accusatory if that's how it came across. Life gets busy and someone could've forgotten something, no big deal. If it looks like everything relevant is getting here then that answers my question about whether we know anything more about the ghost goose gryphon nightmare hint.

You weren't being accusatory. I just wanted to let you and others know we are trying our best to make sure others don't feel left out :)

In case something has been left out, I'll share everything I'm aware of so far in regards to Desmond's hints
- The goose has no relation to the lore or his pup; it's just a chatbox (he also said it's still a clue but idk if we're supposed to get anything else from the goose)
- The gryphon dress up has nothing to do with the story or his pup but is somehow still a clue (i genuinely can't comprehend this)
- Storms are relevant in some way
- Desmond said to work his clues to figure out if his pup is inspired by an animal or not
- His stamps are a clue

Though I'd post some clarification on this clue of mine --
No part of this dress up is related to the story that I wrote for my staff pets. There is no representation of characters, plot, or lore.
But it's still a clue. ;)

I am here to make a guess, but before I do, I have to say Ilove tonight’s pup! So cute!

I am going to guess this pup as Fawnie’s



I know this pup looks nothing like last year’s but these are the reasons why I think maybe this is Fawnie’s pup.

Fawnie has been using one word answers - cherish, nostalgia, picnic. Also, maybe just maybe this one dressup may or may not be a hint



I know the alligator tail is not a hint, but I looked at the dressup as a whole. The first thing I thought of was a cowboy celebrating a birthday nostalgic for its home on the range, which made me think of deer and antílope playing yes I am that corny

But then I focused on the candle. I then realized that Fawnie’s custom pet was made this year in June (which is absolutely wonderful, alison with that dressup!)



It is a deer surrounded by “something like that” referring to a lotta botanical tree and grass. This would be a wonderful place to have a picnic, and look back with nostalgia her time on CS, since getting that custom pet means Fawnie has made a milestone to get that pet, which is something to celebrate. Also, I feel Fawnie will cherish this custom forever, and so she will make a pet in honor of it, too.

I am probably way out in left field, but I figured a denial is better than nothing, and I can’t find her last clue, either! I am being a very bad detective this year

I have one on this thread somewhere. It may not seem like a hint at first glance, but it is.

Is your hint the alif in your very first post on this thread?
And/or possibly related to the "spiders" that will chase your shadow? (Those are called Solifugae, dear Reader, and if you have any trace of archnophobia, do not Google them.)
Both together? Your answers to various questions would seem to indicate someone living in a desert.
