I don't get what all the rage is about Steven universe XD IT ANNOYS ME! Whenever I try to google my birthstone (August birthstone is a peridot) and all that ever comes up is some weird green diamond-shaped-head guy.

It's when there's a PPS when you first adopt the pets, like this little guy from last year:

It's still in the blanket, see? So it's an epic PPS. Oh, and sometimes they can turn PPS toward the end, if that's how the litter is designed.

I don't watch Steven Universe, but I can definitely see the resemblance. However, I'm not sure if that would be allowed due to copyright. But then again, if I'm not mistaken weren't there Studio Ghibli horses in the past?

There were also ponies based on the Sonic verse. I don't really care about Steven Universe myself but a lot of my friends are into it so whatever /shrug. I'm sure there will be pretty outcomes regardless of what it is.

You are correct, as long as the pets are inspired, and not directly copied, it's not a problem, we've also had winx inspired BW's, and Sonic inspired ponies , we've had a few other "inspired" litters but those are the first ones that come to mind.
