Yes the Aussie dog does have a little bit of a demand. This is fair without any demand due to it being inside the three month rule though. So whichever pet you prefer is what it comes down to c:

Big overpay on their side. the store pet is only worth a late 09 or a 2010 rare.
though it has some demand, this is very unfair to them.

First one fair considering rarity math, but most people value event pets higher than normal pets. I don't see many people trading rares for non-rares anyways.

The second one is very unfair to them, rarity, date and demand wise.
