Yes there are a few private boards so staff can plan events and share pet ideas etc

Sorren Fey will be in charge of applications next time around, so I'm not sure, it's not up to me most likely won't be til later next year though, as it's only a few months since we last recruited new helpers. Being a friendly helpful member now will be the best way to work towards getting hired in future, as we always like to see a good long history of awesomeness so that we know we're choosing a reliable person

hello! to any staff member: what country do you come from and where do you live now, if you've moved countries?

I'm from New Zealand, I've lived here most my life, but I did move to Japan for a year and I also lived in America for half a year (spent time in Florida, Pittsburgh, New York, New Orleans, Chicago, and Mississippi)

I wrote this question with Tess in mind, but I'd be interested in hearing from any or all of the site artists!

I don't consider myself an artist, but sometimes I draw for fun. Occasionally, I'll scribble out something I'm proud of, only to find it months later and have my reaction to it be something along the lines of, "Oh god, this is terrible, burn it with fire." Now, considering you have had artwork up on the site for much, much longer than a few months in the form of pets and items... do you experience that? If it were possible, would you want to update any of the old art you've done for CS to reflect your current skill & style?

I have to add though, if any of you guys see flaws in your artwork, I definitely don't! In fact, I was so relieved to come back to this website to find that 1.) none of the art had changed and 2.) it was still just as good as little kid me thought it was.

Yes, 100 times yes. I cringe at half the stuff I've made for the site that's okay though, as long as people continue to enjoy it then I know it still has charm

I think it's really important to never delete or throw away old artwork. You don't have to display it all, but keep it saved somewhere. Sometimes it makes you cringe in the moment, but in the future you'll really enjoy being able to look back over it all. The cringe feeling shows how much you've improved. Just don't be hard on yourself, wear it as a badge of pride, "look how far I've come!"

To Tess: what's your favorite noise that Totoro can make? Does he ever annoy you with this noise?

Totoro is female, which unfortunately means that she is not very musical compared to most male birds. She mostly just makes a simple chirp sound. The worst sound is when she is calling for a boyfriend, and she makes this horrible screeching noise like metal rubbing on metal.

generally male birds are the better songbirds, because they have to learn nice songs to impress the ladies

Hmm... jumped around my house squealing! Once I was actually a part of the team, I met the other GHs and learned how to do everything.

I can't pick just one! I just really love the color schemes and eye colors.

On Chicken Smoothie, definitely becoming a mod! It's something that I've wanted to do since I joined, and I'm so grateful that I can give back to a community that has given me so much throughout my life.

In real life, I honestly don't know... Probably my ACT test score; I ended up with a composite score of 32 or 33. I'm still pretty young so I've got a whole life ahead of me to do something huge! I honestly just want to love someone who loves me equally and work with big cats for the rest of my life, and be financially stable. I don't need to achieve anything huge to feel fulfilled, although it would be nice :3
