iwantmycookie has gotten 2 correct, but I will take an even MORE specific answer for #1 (we've got a continent...now how about a country...?). #3 is out, since I think it was too confusing...lol. I'll come up with some other ones to make it more fair, although my brain is not ready to do that at the moment.

1. Where are these birds found?
MAINLY AMERICA (some species in asia or africa)

2. What is their Latin family name?
CERILYNAE

3. To what group of Kingfishers do these birds belong?
WATER KINGFISHERS.

The river kingfishers (alcedinidae) can be found in, the Krugen national park,South africa (the giant kingisher i think) and some other types of kingfishers (like the pied kingfisher) might be found in Karnataka,in India .

Hooray, new pets! There's not guessing this month, is there? No horses based off of animals, but I think I know what the first horseshoe of May is.. :3
