The Merle blankets are Australian Shepherds, which are herding dogs, who often herd sheep. In New Zealand, they might use Aussies for sheep herding, which may have inspired Tessa (I'm not sure, but it's a good guess )

Oh my god... I just love the adult bobtail... It's so beautiful. And the adult blue merle is fantastic. Of all the adult dogs so far I have to say that the blue merle is my fave. It's so beautiful. I just love March... And oh I can't wait untill wednesday (April 1.)...

I have to agree. I loved the blue merle. Now I really want to see how the light blue aztec will look like as an adult. He looks awesome as a puppy, and the darker one looked so good I can't help but wonder.

They are gorgeous. They actually did an awesome job on the dogs this month... Last month I could pic my favorite easy... but this month, I just can't choose. XD
