Is this trade fair? I mean, as far as trading them in, a rat is equal to a flower, but I don't know if the drop rates are different and the flowers might be more common so worth less.

I'd say they're equal, 1 rat for 1 flower.

Technically pretty unfair to you from what I've seen but they end up going for about the same amount. You might be able to get a tad more with the banana but it will also probably take a bit longer to trade. :)
