It hasn't been on the list before. It hasn't been very rare for that long. ^^

It was never on the list - just because it is VR and popular doesn't mean it automatically gets a place on here.
This list is for the RAREST/OLDEST pets on CS.
(Early '08s/'09s pets on CS, or ones [slightly more recent, like late '09/Early '10] that held their demand for a very long time).

However, there is an updated list being worked on that will contain other pets - Pets that are quite rare or have had good demand for a while, but that aren't rare enough to be put on the Advent list.
Examples:
Royal bobtail, Pastel dogs, and this PPS draft.[/quote]

I just found out about this in an auction when i offered the wrong pets regarding this list , im really confused about how this actualy works. I know the purpose is to tell you what pets are equivelent to however i not actualy sure how this list suites its purpose. Like i said before i dont understand how this works would someone care to Pm me explaining this ?

I think there should be a clarification included, recently Ive seen several people saying new store pets are worth advent list pets - linking to the rares list, apparently thinking that because other store pets are on there. It's not the case; it's certain old store pets are worth this much, not just any store pets! A still available store pet is not rare enough to be on any list, and is worth less than a store pet from a year ago. Just because they were at the same price of 20 C$, doesnt make them equal; older store pets grow in rarity over time as they're retired and cannot be bought anymore. And surely it doesnt mean that just because a store pet is on the tier, other pets in this tier are worth 20 C$!

Just posting this because there seem to be some confusion going over it. Ive seen at least 2 people post "they're worth this and that on advent list" and link to rares list, while recent store pets cannot possibly be on any lists yet.

I see this happen a lot. C$ and store pet "value" never add up - and never will. A full set of the new store pets is worth the same amount of C$ as a mid/low advent. That is true. But at the same time each individual pet is worth an 10 rare and four 10 rares is certainly not advent list material. It really depend on how the traders decide to value the pets - by the amount of C$ they are spending to get them or their individual rarity.
Unfortunately I really don't think there's a way to "correct" this because they aren't wrong. Unless of course they're saying that the store pets individually are on this list because they certainly aren't. A full set though could actually get you a list pet fairly - it's all about which side you're looking at. :)
