Shifting the letters "dgxarxdb" by 9 gets you "uxorious" meaning "having or showing an excessive or submissive fondness for one's wife."

Edit: Lacuna stated "You want it to be cryptic?" before the letters. As in, cryptography?
It was also meant to be the one adjective describing her pup

Putting this back out there.
Have we nailed down any sun hints yet that we could connect to this? Or do any of the pups look like obsessive/submissive husbandos?

Mine is just the standard. Newborn - Child - Adult. No surprises there.
