Ok this is my first try but i think this pup



is the pup from TheCalicoTabby!

Because!
1. "My final dog will have line edits, but the pup has edits, too. Though they may or not may be very noticeable. My pup's line edit are much more subtle than last year's. "

We can see that the dog has a line edit on it's muzzle. It's not very noticeable but it's a line edit.

2. "My pup shares something subtle in common with some of the other pets I've done."

All the Dogs Calico did were bobtails. This pup is a bobtail too! (and i can spy something like swirls on the frontlegs)

3. "My pup's paws use the original lines. Not making any promise about the adult, though!"

This pup has normal paws. But maybe the adult one will change in something like hoves. Because of the white on his paw. ( |D Do you understand me?)

Yeah, I think this could be correct. Though that one with the very slight head tilt is still pretty suspicious, especially when apparently it was Calico who suggested to make a gif.

That leaves us a lot of pups to choose from xD.

I think it might be one of these three, but I'm leaning toward the plant pup.

You know, it would be pretty fun if that was Orchid Sprig's pet and that plant grew to be an actual orchid sprig! XD

I know its an owl or other bird now, but I thought it was a fish when I first saw it.
