I saw this question quite a few pages back, but I'm too busy to read through the whole thread so I'll just answer it and then go back to working on CS

I think it's 1 gift per day.
How does that work with the limit?
For example, can we adopt 15 december 1st pets?

The limit is changeable for every adoptable, so for each day you will probably be able to adopt 2 of that days gifts. We were going to set it at 1, but then no-one would ever trade them, so you can get 2 of each (in some cases)

on other days, if there is more than one outcome or gift, then you may get more chances

I won't give out any more hints, but just don't worry about the limits, it'll be monitored and adjusted carefully over the month and we will put it up or down depending on the present available or what we think will work best

Advent Calendar will start very soon - it is already 2:25pm of the 1st of December where I live, so it could be anytime now...
