^Aha, I love them both! The paper you used, with all the text and highlights, really adds character to your cranes (´∀`)

My only experience with origami is little paper stars. It's been years since I've made any and I could only find a handful that I've saved since my high school days. So thank you for inspiring me to try something new, Anouki! I'll definitely be making more of these friends in the next few days :>

Some years ago (2015) my husband and I were in Japan, for our honey moon. We went to Hiroshima to visit the peace memorial park, and we found a Children's Peace Monument, with really a huge quantity of paper crane. A little child died for the radiation, she has folded 1000 paper crane for a wish. In that occasion some children gifted us with little paper crane. we carefully preserve that little piece of paper as memory of our trip.

My classmate made the blue one for me, definitely looks prettier than the baby crane I just produced, but I'm happy with my first attempt nonetheless :D They are friends.

Man, I haven't folded a paper crane in years, I think the only paper critter I can still make is a frog.

I used to have a friend in middle school who always tried to teach me how to fold paper dragons that looked like this, but I could never really catch onto it. I wonder if I still have any of the ones she gave me
