I've tried to back you up Kam, but sometimes I seem to come off as mean? Alot of people seem to not like you because of your "Mini modding" which I find sometimes is needed if the mods are not on. But, then again, I take the direct approach to somethings which I should have not x)
You've done really well with this topic and I hope people can at least take the time to read this. -_-
Free bump too =)

XD I don't think you sound mean, we're just being blunt. I don't sugar-coat my words with rule-breakers, but I don't insult them either. It isn't our fault they take offense to our words when there was no offense meant.
Funny thing is, I usually don't post about it. I only do that when I get really mad about something that was said. Most of the time I just report and move on.
I don't think mini-modding is such a bad thing. The mods are busy and having people that try to lessen their work and alert them to problems is good.
Think of it this way, the mods are like the police. How do the police work? By tip-offs from citizens or calls of complaint. Rarely ever does the police force take down a criminal based only on their own power. I like to think of myself as the concerned citizen rather than a criminal enabler =3 if I see a rule being broken, I report it, and/or try to stop it. Since I browse around a lot in almost all the forums, I just happen to see a lot XD
Thank you ^^ I hope to keep it up so that I can try to get a message across

Amen to this Kam.
I see this too much, especially in art shops.
It goes from talking about their art, to about their character, to about what they had for breakfast that day.
I mean, really?
That amount of spam will give you a heart attack.
And the excuse of "But it's in General Chat!" doesn't work either.
General chat is for designated, meaningful discussion.
Not pointless spam.
My two cents.
X3

Art shops do tend to attract mindless chatter, no? XD My Goennec thread tends to have a lot of conversation that starts to stray off topic, but every since 3B made a 'spam chat' section of the RP site for them we've been really cutting back.
I think part of it is people hoping to get to be good friends with the shop owner for various reasons, but that seems to be the case with a lot of the 'random people' that show up XD
I see a lot of topics in 'General Chat' that have 'and feel free to talk about anything random!' in their rules. I have a heck of a time trying to explain that Tess' 'no random chat,it's spam' rule applies to all topics =P

Psh, I don't care if you are sweet as honey, sucking up to me/chattering in my art shop, but it won't get you free/cheap customs or friend status. :/
People just don't get it, I suppose. X3
