I appreciate all your guys input, but before we even think of placing 09s, we should focus on the left over 08s. They have priority when it comes to this list.

@windchaser, there has 100% been a jump in demand since malk left, people rush to complete their malk collections. And, the royal bobtail is allot harder to find then the rose rat, and it being a dog i see it as rarer. As for your suggestion of the cards being rarer then the royal litter - no. The cards are not very rare, the royal is. I see cards everywhere, the royal is hard to find. Id say its close to a fact that the royal is rarer then the cards are.

Sorry XD got carried away I guess. But as I was saying, the green bat dog tends to have good demand but I'd place it closer to the bottom of some of the other '08 pets, as it's not as rare as a lot of the others.

Most rats should be placed on this list, yes.


What we need to place; All striped/spotted octobers. The moon litter, the ying-yang and dark-faced litters, November card dogs, royal litter and pastel litter and then all left over advent/08 rats.

The whole point of this list is to show that some 08's and 09's are swapable. But before we think about adding 09's, we need to take a closer look at how these pets sit together, make a list with those. Then, we can start thinking about adding others as the null pps or the 2nd gen green bat. 08's first. Then others.

09's list

Royal bobtail, Fireworks PPS

Growing Light-Faced October, Blue Light Stripe, Orange Heavy Stripe, Growing Dark-Faced October, Watermelon Dog, Ying-Yang dog, Dark Wood Dog, Bumblebee Spider,Malk PPS Pup

08 rats that are not on the list yet.

I moved the rose rat down to Jack-rat. But i think we need to look over the demand of the panda rats again. I haven't seen anybody pay say..a card dog, for one of those rats. I feel like the card dogs should maybe be above the panda rats because they have such poor demand. As for the royal bob, it's incredible hard to find, more so then the watermelon and the ying-yang. I've had and traded at least 10, if not more of the watermelon and ying-yang dogs, and only 3 royals. They are hard to get and people don't let go of them easily.

And I agree that the Panda rats, while popular, are not interchangeable for card dogs. I've gone through a lot of card dogs since last year, and they have pretty good demand, but I wonder if the demand is the same for each card? I think the Queen of hearts I have had a lot of over paying offer for, but it's been a while since I had one up for trade so I don't even know that I can find those trades any more.

^ Green Bat Dog was available in 2009 as well.

I put the October 08 Dogs into rarity order, I'll add the Novs when I get back from dinner.
I think the rereleases have changed their rarities though; Mismatched Green Swirl should have gone VR a long time ago.
I haven't applied rarity yet, I'm just trying to get a good picture in my head. Idk. Ignore if it's not useful D:

Hmm. You can really see the affect on rereleases; Floppy Pink Pastel (nov) turned Rare with the Light Orange Stripe, but is still rare while the stripe went VR quite a while ago ... whut. You may need to apply perceived rarity on top of this list, I am not sure it's correct. It's based off the rarity changes archive alone.

The green bat dog (And all 08 2nd gens) were released all the way down to late 09. I don't remember what month it was but i think they were still released after may, probably till august.


@sollllll, those are purely rarities right? We can add demand after you added the octobers and then we have a rough draft of the list?

Edit: Added them. I'm not sure they're correct, I tried to put it together based solely on the Rarity Changes Archive but I might have made mistakes, plus it doesn't considered rereleases which have clearly had an impact on them.
