Is it strange that I will more willingly part with my pets if they're going to a hoarder than to anyone else?
It just seems that in the new CS people who hoard a pet actually love it.
If somebody's not hoarding it, they'll likely see it as mere trade fodder to get them something more.
I'd rather my pets in a hoard than floating endlessly from user to user, never being wanted for more than a minute. And never having someone REALLY appreciate them.

Same but especially if that pet was once a hoard pet or a pet you were thinking about hoarding <3

I've decided to remove the grey dragon and keep my current board for orange and green dragons otherwise my OCD will keep driving me insane. I've just offered an advent for three dragons, and I offered to add more. However the user wanted a September list pet for one dragon alone. I know they have very good demand but I just hope the greed of some users won't interfere too much with finishing off my hoard. Has anyone else experienced this?
It happens all around CS with literally everything. Just refuse to overpay. Else this will never stop.
I for one, would much rather pass on getting a complete collection than paying what people expect for the Raven right now.
Anyway, I have a question for you guys:

How do you go about adoption centers and hoarding? Do you ask for hoard pets? Do you even still use them at all?
Obviously, it's not good to ask for them if they state clearly that they don't support hoarding. :'D Just... in general.

I don't use them as much as I used to anymore, but when I do I usually ask for hoard pets unless I see another pet that I would really like just for my (now severely depleted) collection. It's a good way to get hoard pets when you're low on fodder or want to save your fodder for higher-rarity hoards.

I rarely use them, I do prefer trading... because they usually don't have the harder to get pets anyway and all my extremely easy hoards never take so much time that I even need adoption centers. *cough* ^w^;

So, I've finally started my first hoard. I usually only do collections with one of each pet in it, but I thought it'd be nice to have something to look for on a regular basis ^_^ So now I'm gonna start looking for this pretty bun!
I'm only on 1 so far, with no set goal. It's just so pretty though, I can't NOT hoard it...
On another topic though: are any of you guys willing to trade of a hoard pet to someone for the sake of completing their collections? Such as getting one of every pet, or similar. It feels like people holding on to their hoard pets is the reason anti-hoarders don't like hoards, but would they be more ok with it if someone was willing to part with a pet if someone was in need of one?
Personally, I wouldn't mind parting with a pet if I had several already, as long as it didn't go to a competing hoarder... :c
Hello! I'm a tired person with a love for
all things creative, animals, pixel art
and aquariums.
(Ask me about making you art!)

Honestly? Not really. I work hard for my hoards so I'm not really inclined to trade a pet away. Also, there is always someone who has a pet someone else needs in their trade group, so it all balances out.

Same lol i don't part with any pets. It's kinda the same for collectors though. They don't part with their collection to help someone else, so why should i?
The biggest excuse a collector has for an incomplete collection is 'it's hoarded too much'. Which, if hoarders can get said pet, a collector can get it just as easily.

I used to trade pets to people because they "needed them"
Later on I'd find MY pet casually thrown into somebody else's damn trade group like so much fodder. Same with the "it's my dreamie" people.
Anymore, I just call crap and move on.
I've been thinking a lot about this lately. Honestly, a "competing hoarder" is more likely to appreciate my pets like I do than somebody just looking for their next greedy fix on their way up and down the trading ladder.

I'm okay with trading away my hoards. But only for good reason. I think it depends on why you're hoarding what you're hoarding. Because I'm hoarding pets that I like that most people don't like and leave and never care for, it makes me happy to see someone that really wants one, so if someone really wants one of my hoard pets and they will take care of it, I'm okay with trading it
