Have you ever thought of why pets like the Zebras, Veggies or Fruits, Tribals, etc. are extremely hard to trade-off? Because very rarely people want those regardless of the tag or rarity they have and regardless of how many there exist.

You have a OMGSR Rat, you offer it to someone, they:
a) Already have one and may not want another
b) Not like the design/species and not want it
c) Know they don't trade well and won't be able to get rid of easily, won't want it

I get how demand can kind of factor in, but I don't understand what has been said about 'everyone having an OMGSR and not wanting to trade for it'? Unless I read that wrong. If it's OMGSR it means a lot of people don't have it? Like, that's what rarities mean, right?
I don't get how the actual rarity can fall so hard when rarity means how many users have it?

Why don't C$ values add up like pets?
Many people ask, "a mid advent is worth 7 09 rares, and an 09 rare is anywhere from 30-45C$. But the mid advent is only listed at 85C$! Shouldn't it be 210-315C$?"
There is a reason why we don't do this.
19C$ = $1 US Dollar
An 09 rare is roughly 30C$. (Just using this as a middle ground, they can be more or less.)
A mid advent is 7 09 rares, so 210C$. ($11 USD - that's already a lot.)
A blue rose dog is worth 7 mid advents, so that would be 1,470C$, or $77 USD. That's a lot of money.
And to take a big jump, a nondog is worth 36 blue roses. That would be 52,920C$, or $2,785 USD.
And finally, a sunjewel is worth 5 nondogs. 264,600C$ or $13,926 USD.
This is why we simply cannot use rarity math like this. A sunjewel right now, at 1840C$, is worth $105 USD which is still a lot of money, but clearly a lot more doable than nearly 14k.

I think it has to do with this bit from "How much C$ is my pet worth?"Why don't C$ values add up like pets?

If you were to sell your Sunjewel for C$ you wouldn't be able to buy it's 09' worth back with the C$ you got. So I see why people don't want to sell their high value pets but would rather trade them instead.
