is this fair? how is the demand of the joker bun?

again, as you know, nobody knows if this is fair and accepting it is inadvisable.
word is that demand for squids is dropping, as expected, and they're currently sitting at around 1-1.5 nons. in that case, the joker bun would be a fair swap as it falls into the same range. if you're looking to play the long game, getting shot of your squid whilst it still trades for something reasonable could pay off, but demand is incredibly fickle and there's a chance that either pet could shoot up or drop in demand.
personally i think i would take it, but it's a dangerous move.

Umm the joker bun is worth a non, and consistency trades for that amount, not 1.5. And the bunnys unless you find a actual collector (like me) are quite hard to trade. All bunnys have that fact.

demand is very fickle and no matter what i say there's always a chance it'll flip to sit the other way around. historically bunnies have always had poor demand and only now trade for large sums because there's a new perception that they're valuable. if any new pets turn purple soon, they'll likely plummet in market value again. people currently seem to like the squid even less than the bunnies but it absolutely could change.
as for what the bunny is worth, rarity wise it sits about level with the sunback and rbm, so not particularly high up on the OMGSR scale.
demand is absolutely up to you.

not only that but this would be unfair rarity wise. whilst the unickorn is incredibly valuable, it comes second to the zebras.
