I think it's......

WHY?
*I think you'll all find mine to be quite a gem
-This pup may remind you of amber. It is also very shiny.
*It did not grow on day 1 or 3
-This pup grew today
*Mine is among the currently grown pups (from Day 8 too)
-As the hint says, it has grown.
*It got an animal feature or item, that doesn't usually belong on a dog though you might not see it, before it's fully grown.
-Must I say more?
*Mine got something in common with my first staff dog.

This is Pluma's first staff pet. As you can see on the black background, this dog has wings, as does Pluma's first staff pet.

So, who agrees with me?

Also, let's see...
*Mine got something in common with my first staff dog.
Like Pluma's first staff pet, the pup has an uncommonly used tail (meaning not used as often as the regular tail)
I also think that this pup will be heterochromia when it grows up - and in some pictures, it's eye color looks like purple, as seen in the first staff pet.
*This pup is also heavilty edited - Pluma's staff pets usually are.

OMG the griffin thing in the egg. It metallic's! She always does this type of style! I'm going to take a look at the chart again and see if my theory is right.

The more I look at this little dude, the more I think she could be a dragon, a gryphon, a phoenix-- or maybe even a raptor

The tail doesn't look very raptorish since it's thin, but it's possible that there might be more tail hidden on the inside of the egg.
The face looks like it has a beak/beak-like area that's far back on the face, and the shape of the body seems reminiscent of a raptor. The little claw sticking out could belong to a number of beasts, but the size of it also makes me think raptor

Tbh, I think it's a hippogriff. Claws, beak, lion tail... it adds up if you ask me! Plus the feathers under the egg :0

That could be too! There are a lot of things it looks like it could be at this point omg
Cause phoenixes, dragons, gryphons, hippogriffs, and raptors all have feathers and similar traits : D

I find it a tiny bit sad that they grew so fast. Three each day? It's only been eight days and it's practically over already. We only have tomorrow. I guess we still have the final stage to look forward to, and I know everyone's excited but.. I almost wish they had grown like normal monthly pets. Slower, you know?

I am 100% in belief of feather-covered dinosaurs, especially raptors
