To me, this one says "The Raven" with the white marble looking front and the black Raven looking feathers.

I thought that too, it definitely looks more like The Raven than Annabel Lee like I was originally thinking from the foal design.

This one how ever seems Way more likely to be the raven than the one that grew tonight



I still say cask of amontillado for this one -though there is no 'jester' the tunnel like pattern it to hard to over look. + the crying & almost bone/stone like pattern of the white end.

The design on the black half looks more like feathers than stone to me. And if you look on the back legs, the markings there remind me of bird feet.

I totally get why'd it would occur to you based on that, but Saikiyo said they were based on poems and Cask of Amontillado isn't a poem.

Poems and short stories, I only said poems but it's actually some of each. This outcome is a bit more symbolic of the story/poem it's based off.

But yeah, this one's the Raven. The raven perches upon a bust of pallas. In the poem the raven was a symbol of grief, sadness and mourning so I made the horse of a pure white marble representing happiness/happy memories which are being overshadowed and corrupted by said sadness. Even the parts that aren't all covered have still been effected shown by the tears.

It has my favorite color combo, pink and light blue, and that grey color just works with that combo. Beautiful! =3
