A lot of people don't know how to convert C$ values fairly. For instance, it's common for someone to convert each pet being offered into C$, and then to add at up. With this method, someone would offer around 8 '09 rares and get a C$ value equivalent to a September list pet, which is nowhere near fair.

When trading with C$, you have to convert the C$ into a pet worth it's value, and then trade pets according to it. For example: let's use the value 200C$. 200C$ is around equal to a Red Rose. So, if someone were offering for the C$, they would have to offer pets that are equal to the Red Rose. For instance, they could offer a Scarf PPS and a Grey Border Collie, or they could offer 5 mid-Advents. Both of these options are equal to a Red Rose.

In your case, 180C$ is worth a Pink Striped September. Their side must add up to that. ^^

I thought the same, but it's not the correct method. C$ Math, or rarity math has never worked.
Their side is worth 185C$, as the early '09 rare is worth 35-40, the mid '09's are worth 30, and the early '10 is worth 25, and thats how you calculate it. ^^

They'd have to add around 7 2011 uncommons to their side to make it fair to you. As a bit of help in the future:

1 '09 rare = 4 '09 uncommons = 8 '10 uncommons = 16 '11 uncommons.

But if that is the case, then that means that someone can get 8 '09 rares for the same cost as a September list. That just doesn't make sense.
