Wow, you guys are some expert sleuths! I will confirm my hint if someone guesses it correctly, but until then...

I have three guesses but I don't think any of them work out 100%
Either way! Here is my list:
-they all have pretty remarkable eyes
-all have leg/paw markings
-all have facial markings
-all have a marking on the tail

Honestly I'm just grasping at straws here haha. But maybe some other sleuths will come up with the solution soon!

I think I found something else!

Wesley has a pet group named [guessing game] in which the pets names form the following sentence: "What *one* trait do all of these pets have in common? My cat does *not* share this trait!"

Think this is the missing hint lucky meant?

Great work! But I don't think this is Lucky's hint, just Wesley's own.

I thought Lucky just said there was a hint missing, like.. in general. But that might just be me misinterpreting!

I agree that Lucky might have spoken of a missed hint in general, but what would a page 394 have to do with Wesley's hint? You might be right of course, but I for myself can't see a connection.

Yes, that is indeed confusing. I've been trying to find anything related to that particular comment in lucky's own pet groups or forum posts but I can't really come to a conclusion. The only slightly related things are this pet's dress up seeing how it's Harry Potter related, or...

Page 9 of lucky's Secret June group has cat names forming the following sentence:
The hint chart is not completely correct. Cheetahs are my favorite animal but may not be my kitty. Good luck!

Other than that though.. I have no idea what any of it is supposed to mean.

Not sure if this was missed or not, but 'page 394' is another Harry Potter reference. 'Turn to page 394.' ( the page on werewolves which indirectly answers Ron's question as to what happened to Lupin. )
Maybe there will be a hint when the thread hits page 394, or maybe it's something else.
( or Lucky was just complementing one reference with another. ;x; )

Other things than a literal page number we might deduct from this hint:
-In HP, page 394 is where the Defense Against The Dark Arts class begins learning about werewolves in their third year. This instruction ("turn to page 394") is given by professor Snape, with the sole purpose of 'unmasking' Defense professor Remus Lupin as a werewolf.
--> Lucky does have a pet named Remus, which is fish related, but I don't see how that is a hint.
--> It might have something else to do with werewolves? Not sure about CS pets based on them?
--> Could be something about a full moon, but again, not sure what that would mean?
--> Maybe something about Snape? I'm pretty sure snape is a species of fish as well
