UR pets will be added around June or so to wait for hype and demand to fully settle. Besides that, what DD said is basically true. I've debated moving the UR Tiger above it but honestly it might just do what the BA and Joker do. Not sure.

TBH it already does what the BA and joker do XD moving it up would sorta just be pointless. I havent seen anybody swap a sunjewel for an UR tiger in ages.

But if they always go for more than a Sunjewel, why not move them up? I thought this list was made to reflect the market and to show what CS users are currently paying. If they're paying more, I see no reason not to move it up.

I do agree, but the problem is there's the issue of people then expecting even more than they're already asking for it [like the BA and joker]. While it would reflect what it's going for it could also cause inflation and I'm not sure that would be helpful. I agree totally.
But I think we also have to keep in mind that this list was originally compiled to show what the most valuable pets on the site are actually worth (ie what they are being traded for compared to each other)
I think we have to be careful not to let the list turn into something that is trying to actually dictate a pet's value rather than just reflect what it is. I hate with all my soul to suggest moving that damn BA or Joker any higher than their already ridiculously inflated values have sent them but, we all know BA's are not actually being traded for Dark Leopards. I wonder if our refusal to move it higher to reflect this is not a subconscious attempt to do just that. Actually create and designate what we know a pet's true value to be rather than put it where average past trading has shown it to be valued.

Believe me I HATE HATE HATE to even think this because I am fully aware of it's calculated value and I am also from back in the day when it was freely swapped for any other '08 Advent over and over again. But for some crazy reason, this is no longer so. It blows my mind to this day but (to quote my favorite LPN coworker) "It is what it is"

Yeah, no I totally agree, which is why I wanted to talk about it. If we don't have them where they're trading at, we're not reflecting their values properly and people could get ripped off if they don't know about the fact they can go for more. But at the same time I'm worried that if the BA goes to like, red toxic level, people will start wanting nons for it, or the UR tiger moving up, two sunjewels or something...

Yeah, no I totally agree, which is why I wanted to talk about it. If we don't have them where they're trading at, we're not reflecting their values properly and people could get ripped off if they don't know about the fact they can go for more. But at the same time I'm worried that if the BA goes to like, red toxic level, people will start wanting nons for it, or the UR tiger moving up, two sunjewels or something...

Well, the BA/Joker problem - people are still paying fair for both of those. I saw a BA go for a wolf pps not that long ago, and ask Shain/firestar what she paid for the last joker, i don't think she grossly overpaid either..

The demand of the BA has simmered down. I don't see that many people offering sorbets for it anymore? And even then, while everybody and their mom were paying sorbets, i was still able to get a BA for a skelepps...which i then traded for a balloon dog.

The tiger does go for way more then a sunjewel, but what use does the move have? I think everybody knows it goes for more then a sunjewel, and as soon as you enter an auction for one the top bid always takes up allot more then sunjewel. I dont have a problem with moving it up, but other then a 'it might spike demand', there is no real reason to move it up or leave it? it's commonly know that the tiger is very wanted and very valuable.

the ur tiger really isn't that special, it's just that there are so many people that hoard them and/or never trade them, or if they do it's only for a bribe. I don't really think they should be moved up because of that ^^' but that's my two cents. It is rare but...i think the price and demand is mainly due to that....

See, I'm for either a list that correctly reflects what they're going for or a rarity-only list. Because the mix we have here is really confusing. Some pets don't get moved higher even though they're usually going for more, some pets don't get moved lower even though they never go for as much as they should according to this list.
I get that rarity is a part too, but if people pay that much, or that little, then that's what they're being traded for.
Personally, I'd be most for a rarity only list, with little arrows indicating if demand is good or bad. But please, whatever you do, pick one of the choices, the mix we have right now is weird. c:

As for moving the zebra's, at this point in time, i vote no. Wait until AFTER the change in line-arts. People may love them and decide they want them, demand may spike. But, demand can also be worse because the people who hoard now don't want to hoard them any more after the line-art change.

I'm all for waiting for quite a few months AFTER the lineart change before considering moving the Zebras. I know it's going to be total chaos for a while after the change just because they will not only be something shiny and new in their new designs but also the utmost rarest pets on the site on top of that.

Look at how the Unicorns have gone crazy since a bit before their lineart change for example. Imagine that now with an OMG So Rare tag on it. D:
