Dumb question, but didn´t I see that the "Malk pets" will be retired soon too? (Did see it somewhere, that the spiders will be retired, or did I read wrong?)

Yes, those lines will be retiring soon but their theory was that Tess decided to use old forgotten created pets (in this case the ponies). I was trying to make the point that once a staff member is retired or left, any old designs laying about won't be used so if someone made a litter of pets back in 2008 but then retired/left, their pets would not be used 4 years later.

A lot of users seem to think that the spiders and owls are always designed by Malk which would negate the "once they are retired, no more of their pets are put out" (since she retired last month) so I pointed out that the last time Malk's designs came out were last Feb and March so that wouldn't effect the spiders and owls put out this month.

My theory is similar.
bananas was an user in 2008, became friends with Tess, but then left for Hiatus/quitting/whatever, but Tess and bananas stayed in contact. Then somehow they got the idea that bananas should make a pet, so Tess sent him/her the lines, and bananas colored them in.

I don't know, but anyways,I like the horses^^

She has some nice pets O_O For only being on for ten minutes xD But those 08's were common then...

Anyway back to topic, adding on to Felicette's idea she stayed in contact with Tess and Tess told her to join but she got bored (HOW could she? -_-) so Tess said told her she could colour a pony, she wasn't very keen on doing it but she still did. Or, Tess maybe made it as a CONTRIBUTE to bananas! Because maybe they were close friends and like together always! But bananas left because she didn't have time, she only started because she was one of Tess's closest friends and stayed for ten minutes. Tess coloured a pony as a contribute to bananas!

Maybe bananas is just a test account or something, and Tess or Nick actually drew the ponies - just to psych us all out.
