His eyes watered too. "I don't know. But can you promise me something?"
Alana nodded wipping her eyes on her sleve.
Father smiled weakly. "Keep your love for me."
Alana perked up, "Why?"
"Because love is the weapon."

i dont have a story for them. i feel so lucky to have them though, i dunno why, maybe cuz the rats they are based on are OMGSR?

(Well, time for me to torture you with another one of my terrible stories. Sorry for any spelling mistakes, I am terrible at it.)
(BTW this is a true story, slightly modified so I would not have to ramble.)
(And those are not our real hair colors. I didn't have any brown wigs left.)

I watched the rain on the windows of the bus. Patter patter patter. I sighed and slumped back in my seat. I would have usually had my backpack on the floor of the bus but the wet footprints that people had tracked into the rows made me not want to put it down. I looked over at my friend on the left. She gave me a worried glance. Would we have to walk home in the rain? In Arizona, rain is normal in the winter like snow in northern states. Instead of snow we always get rain or sometimes hail. To us, the places where the water collected in the road looked like rivers that we would have to cross.


The bus slowed to a halt at our stop. We hurried to get out before the others because only three of us lived farther on another street. My friend and a boy who lived seven houses down from me. We stopped on the barrier in the middle of the road and saw a river of water, rushing down the road. we would have to cross it. The others were across it before I was about to jump. I did as the bus started moving away, the low growl of its engines starting up again got louder, then softer as it went away. I walked to the sidewalk to get down to my street.


"I wonder if the pigion's still these!" The boy piped up and ran over to a spot near the curb. "Pigion?" My friend asked and ran behind him. I hurried behind them and reached the spot they had stood before. They had gone from the spot, however, and I got to look at it all by myself. It was a dead pigion. Still recognisable, with a beak and feathers and everything. But it had been run over. That was for certain. I just stood there, watching the pigion, letting the rain drip on me without an umbrella. I would have stayed if not for my friend grabbing my arm and saying. "We have to get home." I took one last glance at the poor creature that didn't get a chance to live and walked away.
