A few reminders to everyone on the thread rules that are being frequently broken lately:
1. Do not reply to another person's post in this thread.
That means do not comment on what other people post. Your post must be a rant. Anything else will be considered spam.
This includes posting in response to someone without actually quoting their post. If your post is a reply to a previous post, it will be deleted.
2. Do not give out usernames.
This includes replying to someone else's rant (which isn't allowed anyway) in such a way as to make it clear this is the person you're ranting about, offering to share the username, asking for usernames, or giving 'hints' to who sent the trade. Any of these could earn you a board warning for bullying and harassment.
5. No spamming.
All posts must be rants about trades. These are off-topic and well be deleted.
◦Complaining about a lack of trades
◦A trade taking too long to be accepted
◦People having not-for-trade pets in open groups
◦Being foe'd
◦Reposting a rant - if you've already ranted about it, there's no reason to rant about it again
◦Getting bad advice from the FTT
◦Things like "I think I'll quit", "I might as well quit", or anything of the like, as it looks like fishing for attention or gifts to 'make you feel better'.
◦Anything else along these same lines - Use common sense
Many of the rants being posted here lately are technically spam. Any posts breaking the rules above will be deleted.
6. DO NOT complain about receiving offers on pets that are 'not for trade'.
If some of your pets are 'never for trade', lock the group they're in so people can't offer on them. Your group trade settings are found at the bottom of the pet group's page. If you still want to be able to get offers on them, wishlist-lock them.
Also, please note that it's against the thread rules to make up or alter trade messages from others to make it look worse than it was, even if you're not changing it much from the original. We can see what was actually said in the trade message and any trade messages leading up to or following it in the trade's history, so we can tell if the trade message you say you got is different from what they said. Depending on severity, you may receive a board warning for lying about trade messages.
