I just got a post on my autions thread that stated:

For teh cat and blue balloon, I will give you joey. A rare dog thahas a star on his leg.

That was a translation. This was the real post. By cat, They mean halloween 08 cat.

I mean, They didnt read my rules x3x
It wasnt nearly fair,
And they didnt even say who Joey was! (Not even a pic)
I had to dig through their pets to see it was the purple star advent XuX

kay, so I get a random, out-of-the blue trade this morning.

Red Crayon Dog and a Nick April Sundog, message 'What would you want for these'?

I took out the Crayon, 'cause it was in my DPA group. but decided to be nice and try and trade the sundog to them.

Them: 7 common.uncommon pets. (Only 1 is actually uncommon)

Me: Nick dog

THEY send back:

5 common/uncommon pets.

I send back:

8 common/uncommon pets and a messge saying it's still probably unfair to me.

THEY send it back with 'sure'

I add in one dog.

They cancel.

(arrrg. They just wasted my daqy with this trade. >.<)

I hate secret words.
Hate them.

Yeah, whatever, 'to make sure I've read the rules' and all that jazz. I do read the rules, allll the time. I can usually deal with the normal thing where rule, say, 5, is 'and say bananasicle in your trade to prove you've read all these'... but when rule 7 is 'i lied, the secret word is i like pie' and then rule 11 is 'actually the secret word is omg you're awesome' and so on, I get sick of it. I want to trade for your pets, not spend five minutes reading and rereading your rules until I figure out what you're going on about, even though your rules are exactly the same as the last twelve trade threads I read.

And then half the time I forget to put the word in the trade anyway, after I go through all their trade pets to see if I want anything, and I get the nastiest replies! "You obviously haven't read my rules, so go back and try again!" "I don't trade with people who don't listen." and that's the fully literate people...

What has brought this on is a trade for the PPS 2nd gen of this month that I adore, and want for sentimental reasons, and had been after for ages, and... I forgot their 'secret word' which wasn't actually a word. So they cancelled, but they seemed nice as their cancellation message was 'I'll hold the pet for you so you can try again'... and all was good, until I clicked the pet to send a new trade, and they'd given it to someone else in the less than 12 hours since the trade had been cancelled.
*sulks* I don't like trading, I'm not very good at trading, I don't like having things like this happen to me. They make me have to prolong my suffering.

I know what you mean. Reading through all that stuff just makes my head feel empty. I've got ADHD. I don't have the attention span to read through a novel to figure out what's going on. By the time I get to the end of all that crap I've forgotten what pet they had that I wanted or what I was going to offer them. So it's either go back and read it all over again, X out and move on to something else or my favorite choice...When I open a thread or someone's trade page and see more than a few sentences or I see a bunch of numbered rules I just leave immediately. I don't care of they've got the pet I've been looking for for months and all I have to do is say the magic word and it'll be mine. I dont' jump through hoops in real life and I'll be damned if I'm going to do it online. I don't play reindeer games.

Oh! by the way, what 2nd gen PPS are you talking about? I didn't know there was one.

This isn't a trade, but I was on the auction threads when I came across a July or August '08 dog auction. One person had offered two rare rats and a 2nd gen, saying, "OH MY GOSH I"M OFFERING AN AUGUST '08 2nd gen." I found that kinda amusing, actually. XD

I would find that amusing too!


This trade kinda angered me:

Someone sent me a trade for a Christmas Tree I had extra of and told me to edit, so I did. I asked for a Rose Rat that I didnt have. It was really the only pet I didnt have beside the Blue Rose pup, and that was in her Favorites, so I didnt ask for it.

Then, she edits and says "How about this then?" and gives me a cat from malk that I think was recent. So I edited it and said that I already had it. Well, she replies and says: "What would you like, then?"

So, I edited it again with the Rose Rat which she had two of, and she cancles it! >.> I find it annoying that when people have two pets of the same kind cancle a trade they sent just because they get annoyed with my persistencey!

lol some people are hypocrites they talk about how they want others to read theyre rules then they go and ask what I want for some shop items I have when it says in my rules my items arent for trade xD
