Didn't the august PPS Lion used to be on here? Where did she go?

the august pps isnt on the rares list and wont be for a few years, it was just demand that made everyone think so.

Actually, the august pps lion most likely be on the rares list, considering that it's just a random very rare and the demand makes everybody think its worth list pets.

there was a dissusion about this a few pages back.
while it is true that it is very rare and random, it isnt worth rareslist yet.
it is sort of like a store pet that anyone had a chance of getting, store pets are only worth a rare two years older. and it usually takes two years to get on the list.
though a good example of demand gone crazy was the 2011 st pats dragon, it did get on the list for a few months. but then demand dropped and everyone realized while it might be VR it wasn't all that "rare"

The August PPS won't even be on the October/09 List that's currently being worked on. It's simply a 2012 very rare. I even doubt the Shima is going to be on the new List.

It's very rare, but so are store pets and such. If the lion goes on the list, all the rares and very rares from all the years before have go on before it.

A very experienced rarity expert mentioned this, but I can't find the post, so I'll re-announce it.

The August Lion will NEVER be on the Rares list.
This list is only for the RAREST pets on CS.
And just because people are paying insane list pets for it does not mean anything regarding "The list takes demand into account".
So nowhere in the near future will it even be considered even if it's Very Rare.
A VR from previous years will always be more Rare & valuable than the lion.
So please stop asking if it will be put on the list.

The ONLY exceptions are the UR pets.

No 2012's or 2011's will be on this list or the added on list! They are simply not as rare as the others! People who pay rareslist pets for missed outcomes overpay because they want to, not because it's actually worth that much.

The add-on list won't even hold allot of 09 rares. Only a bunch of very rares that are pretty rare. The shima longtail, lion pps, july lion and whatever other pet that is super popular and goes for mid-advents and more is all a demand hype! They are not worth that much at all.

Please don't give out the information that certain pets will be on the list, read a few pages back and make sure you are up to date with your rarities. It's rumors like this that make the demand stay up and that is unneeded.

lol im sorry, i read that too, but i dont believe it, never say "NEVER" it will someday, maybe not for years, but one day all the pets we have now might be the rarest on the site. but even the list we have now is made up a mix of years. i agree it won't be a list pet for a while but it will be there eventually.

Never mean never in this case. You have to remember that the list was made to show the rarest and oldest pets on CS. We won't be adding year after year after year. We may aswell just have a list for every single year if we wanted to do that. That's not the purpose of this list.

The lion pps does not belong among these pets, there are simply too many around.

Also, remember that unlike store pets (which you can only--ONLY--get at the time they're avaliable) the August PPS will be rereleased. Why, if we put 2012-2013 pets on the list, the Cheshire from January would be on there before the lion.

The lion is just not rare enough. It's just a high demand pet from 2012, nothing more.

I'm confused about something.

I've been lurking the 'what is this pet's worth' thread and I've seen Fatty mention that the Joker's demand usually results in it getting traded for well over its tier on the list.

I thought the list took demand into account? And if so why hasn't the joker moved up?

Fat Unicorn was likely talking about the fact that people are willing to overpay for the Joker (either because they genuinely want to overpay or because they are mistakenly reapplying demand to the rares list; a lot of people seem to miss the fact that demand is already included in the list).

I believe the reason it won't get moved up is similar to that of the Black Advent: moving it up will only make people reapply demand to it even more. ^^; And then we'd get into an endless cycle of moving it up, then seeing more demand piled onto it, then moving it up again, then seeing even more demand piled onto it, etc.
