What I say and what I do is not something you should bother trying to change. I'm a hardhead so this sentimental 'but its so wrong noobs don't know how to trade, they are showing you trust' I can say that if I had offered a blank trade to you with my two suns saying 'can I have your blabla for this' then you would most likely accept it. And what happened before trade suggestions are none of my business at all. Ive also been overpaying alot for trades with newbies recently for their newborns, if they ask for a galaxy for their septs then fine. Its christmas.

If it was one of my Dogs/Wolves, I'd say no. Regarless of rarity. Believe me or not, but I wouldn't.

Any other pet would be fair game though... But I still wouldn't accept, I'd edit in the pet.

And there is a difference between n00bs and newbs. Either way, taking advantage of either a mistake or lack of knowledge or trust is still mean in my opnion.

I keep managing to run into noobs who haven't a clue how to run an auction. Just now a trading suggestion I sent someone with my offer for their auction in it got cancelled. With no message.

And the list of reasons for my personal dislike of auctions only grows longer.

Me, it's not even the waiting that bothers me. 10-15 days? Okay. I'll make a sticky note for myself. It's this that bothers me:

Auctioneer: My auction will be a short one, as I'm busy.
A couple days pass.
Auctioneer: My auction will end on Chickenday, a few days later.
Chickenday rolls around.
Auctioneer: I've decided to extend my auction until Smoothieday, a few days later.
Smoothieday rolls around.
Auctioneer: My auction will end on IsAwesomeday, the next day.
IsAwesomeday rolls around.
Auctioneer: Well, I suppose I'll end it on OhYeahday, the day after IsAwesomeday.
OhYeahday rolls around.
Auctioneer: Okay, it's over! But I haven't decided yet.
A couple days pass.
Me: Withdrawing bid since this isn't ending anytime soon.
Auctioneer: The holiday weekend prevented me from finishing the auction, but the auction IS over. I'll be deciding the winner from the bids that haven't been withdrawn. I'll be doing that tonight.
A day passes.

...LOL riiiiight. This whole auction pattern seems to be magnetic, because I can't seem to shake it in most auctions I enter. >.> It tells me this: That you didn't get a good enough bid so you're stalling. And since you stopped accepting bids, you're dissatisfied with the bids you've got. (In which case, just declare no winner and be done with it. >.>)

Some of the auctions I see shouldn't even be an auction. It's more like, "This is very rare and I'll only accept very rares so I'm going to discount your offer before the auction's over." No, that's not an auction, that's a trade thread disguised as an auction in hopes that people will offer more than the pet is worth. An auction is where everybody can bid, but the best bid will win in the end. I swear, this is the only place ever where I've seen people say "I'm not going to count your offer because it's not good enough" in an auction. It makes no sense to me. o.O

What some people don't seem to realize, is how hard it really is to be a newb now, as there are so many more pets around than there used to be. I know, I only joined in October, and I knew nothing about rarities, so ended up sending some stupid trades, and really got growled at by someone. But then, I also had someone give me for a few of my pets, a Uncommon advent '08 dog. I thought that they where really nice, but then someone, I don't think that they were new, sent a trade, my Advent '08, for their September '09 Uncommon. I, knowing nothing of rarities, accepted.

What I find annoying, is that people take advantage of newbs. I was thinking, that maybe if people stopped taking advantage of newbs, there would be less n00bs. I knew someone, on another site, that ended up being a n00b, because of how unfairly they were treated as a newb.
