ps. I think that what you guys do is really cool. im an artist too (I love to paint and draw and most of the time doodle) but digital art is tough for me because I don't have great programs and all I have is the mousepad on my laptop. Anyways I think its amazing that you can create these awesome designs on a computer, it blows my mind sometimes : )

so about custom pets, do you have the ability to make ones for yourself whenever? can you create items to fit your customs that have line edits?
and one more! do you guys ever get bored on CS and start doing random stuff like looking through old threads or stalking your friends' pet collections?

1. Normally I design as I go. I've abandoned designs before and I have kept a few 'unreleased' pets in case I want to work on them in the future.
2. It feels pretty cool
3. I do check that thread but I rarely find ideas I want to work from there.
4. I think it's because the rainbow smoothie wasn't released officially, I wasn't around when it was made so I can't give you the details.
5. Tess will let you know when you've been a staff member long enough to have a custom. I've never thought about making items for my custom specifically, there's nothing I want to put on mine and most staff members have whatever item they want drawn on their custom already.

But I only do that on very rare occasions. If I made a new sunback today then it would have a new pet ID# so you would be able to tell something was fishy about it (it would go in a strange order in pet groups since it wouldn't be a genuinely old pet). There are a few odd pets like that around the site cos I've sometimes had to create new pets for special reasons, like to replace pets that got stolen and then traded away and traded away until we can't easily return the real thing to their rightful owner.
