I don't think "they didn't read my rules" is an acceptable excuse for taking someone's pet. Were they stupid to send a trade with pets on their side, and no safeguard to make sure their pets weren't taken without something given in return? Yeah, that's a little foolish. Does it give anyone the right to act like a jerk and take what's not theirs? No. >.> If they break your rules, you can foe them and never have to deal with them again.

I don't think I'd trade with anybody that said they'd take someone's pets if they had the opportunity.

Same here. Just because you put it in your rules doesn't mean you can steal someone's pets. Maybe they forgot to add pets to your side or something. It just isn't okay.

This isn't really a trade... but I was on the Adoptions thread whne I stumbled across an Adoption center. The person had about 10 early 09 pets for adoption, so i asked for a pet. They canceled, saying, "Sorry, I'd love to keep her. <3" I'm confused. What's the point of putting up a pet for adoption if they're not going to let people have it? XD

Graah. Lack of communication! Well, more like lack of clarity with a dash of indeciciveness. xD I got one a bit like that, but I was poking through "keepsies" kind of groups, though I had permission to do so. I was very confused. (And dissapoitned. :< No pretty leopard dog for me.)

Yeah, it was sad, but I suppose I didn't mind. It was a Valentine b-wolf, and I'm fond of Valentine pets. XD

If they send a trade with no pets on our side that isnt a suggestion so we can edit, then we simply accept it. If they didnt bother sending it as a trade suggestion then why should we bother saving their butts? They could've gone back and cancelled the trade before we accepted it aswell.

Besides, if they WANTED you to have it for free, they would say that it was free.

Maybe they didn't think you'd be so greedy. I mean, the majority of CS users aren't so why should you be? With the way you're going, no one's gonna wanna trade with you in case you do something like this.

I keep managing to run into noobs who haven't a clue how to run an auction. Just now a trading suggestion I sent someone with my offer for their auction in it got cancelled. With no message.

I agree with you, EnteHühnchen. I mean, the reason why some CS users offer pets without anything on the other person's side is because we are showing that we trust you not to accept it. It's common sense. If someone wanted it to be free for you, they would say so.
