What would the unusual accessory be? The closest I can find is the butterfly and/or the tail.

the sprout is the accessory, and metamorphosis would fit for plants ^^

I'm trying to find out the artist of this pup


sooo. Wiltshire or Wilts for short
also called Wiltonshire in the past.
southwest of england..

known for stonehenge and the irish poet Thomas Moore.
the people there are called Moonraker, based on an legend about smugglers.

but how's that fitting to any of the artists this year D:

The poet part could be poetry which refers to jadeghost's hint. However, everything is jadeghost so who knows xD


I have a couple guesses as well : I believe this one

I agree with bloodstained bunny ^ plants=metamorphosis and it is a bit odd coming out of the dogs back so that would be the odd accessory . However I can't help but to think this one could possibly be it :
Adopt virtual pets at Chicken Smoothie! only because of how similar it looks to their dog from last year. The dog did have mushrooms growing on it so I suppose that could also have a hint towards the metamorphosis part ?

Well, Lilian almost never has lineart edits, but I don't think this is her style. I took another look at the camels we got and nuh. Besides, we WOULD expect lineart edits and we've had dragony dogs before :p
