when went into Very Rare july and august dogs from 2008?
because the first time when I saw CS was sometimes in july 2009... and it was all very rare
they are very rare from the beginning? or very soon after start CS?
I'm only very curious Do you know it someone?

I heard from one '08 user, that some pets from July already come with VR at the beggining, and these didn't changed to VR later. But I'm new here, only saying what I've heard.

when CS started... so here had be so small members that pets really could be very rare

When CS started in April/July 08 there were no rarity tags. I don't think those came in until sometime in 2009, I can't remember when though.

When CS started in April/July 08 there were no rarity tags. I don't think those came in until sometime in 2009, I can't remember when though.

Obviously when the July and August 08 pets where available for adoption they where not very rare X3 They would all be commons and uncommons (maybe a rare sunjewel? *Shrug*) just like any new pets are. But like you said Solloby we did not have rarity tags back then, it was all a guessing game mainly based on demand.
I think we got rarity tags around autumn 09, pretty sure it was late 09. And at that point all July and August 08 dogs where very rare. I don't remember any of them as rare =3
The september 08 dogs is a totally different story, though! Many of them actually started out as uncommon when we got the tags^^
That just show what a leap there is between the July/August 08 dogs and the rest of the dogs on the site X3

Although we didn't have rarity tags, these were my impressions at the time:
Sunjewel, Moonswirl & Dogtag were rare (so much so that I didn't know they existed until August or so)
July PPS, BE Galaxy and Coontail were rarish but not really, although it's possible I was just lucky with Coontail and PPS
Blue Rose was rarer than Rose PPS, but I used a very small subset when determining pet rarities
Sorbets were all the same rarity
Joker was rare and hard to farm up, hence the reason the Card dogs are so 'common' for 08 Rares, but you could keep adopting until you got one
Since Cats & Tess Horses were always available and only had 1 outcome each, there was little reason to adopt more than 1 of them
Black Advent was not more valuable than the other Advents at the time, I swapped 1 regular 08 advent each for both of mine back in 08

The rarity tags definitely came in during Autumn '09. I joined in August '09, and there weren't tags. They were in by Halloween, however, so maybe they were implemented in September?
I was a very new player and I remember there being a LOT of controversy on the boards about whether the tags were right or not, because demand for some pets really did not reflect their tagged rarity - as is still the case now. Some discussions got quite heated as I recall and one or two older players even left over it. As a new player it was a very confusing time to join..

They had to come out in September or October then. We joined in September but didn't really discover the forums or do much trading or interacting with other members until October came around. I remember there being rarity tags in October but honestly don't remember if they were there when our pets grew in September.

There is now an extra piece of information on your pet pages: The pet's rarity. It gives you a basic idea of how rare your pet is. We're still tuning this a little bit, so don't be surprised if your pet's rarity changes over time .

We plan to show this information while you're trading, so that you can see at a glance if your offer is reasonable or not. Hopefully this will stop people from asking for a whole bunch of rare pets for practically nothing in return.. . Probably we will allow you to automatically block trades which are too unfair.
