So I started this hoard right away doing the Halloween event. I just knew I need these dogs ;w;
- I adore their design and the colours are simply amazing~
But I have a thing I might want to do for all of them, and that's to give them crowns o:
- would that be a bad idea? What do you guys think? I would need a lot of crowns but I'll get my paws on the C$ somehow x'D

I have 28 out of 50 of them now, and I feel like they're fairly easy to get, so far at least c:

I also started my first "rare" hoard o: by a mistake. I really thought that the kitsune pets from the Halloween event would only be uncommon. But two of them turned out to be rares.
So here we are, Kistune Madness hoard
Right now it's endless, but I will most likely change that. I'm not sure how to feel about having started a rare hoard ;A; people often look a bit weirdly at you for doing so... but oh well, it's all in good fun c:

i recently reached 200 on my pps caterpillars hoard, but i'm not really sure how many more i want to collect. i'm just wondering at what point do you guys usually like to call a hoard complete?

When I feel it finished^^ If I loose joy on collecting the pets I end the hoard or when I reached a number I like (most time number like 20, 50, 100, etc) :3

First; The crowns. I would love to see that :3 Item & Pet hoards are a little bit harder to end but I also did it and it is so much fun to see every single hoardie of this hoard with an item!
Second; Don't give a thought about what other people think. I also hoard rares, I even hoard Store Pets. And if somebody has a problem with this, well... then he/she can have this problem. I understand if sb is mad because you have like 1.000 of this one single List Pet or 20 of the omgsr ones but on the other side... the collecting user has abonded surely pretty much to get so many of this pets.
Sample it all together; If ppl are mad about you bc you are hoarding rares then just ignore them. And you are "only" hoarding a new rare which is pretty common seeing that two littermates are uc :3

The hoard name is a word play with "Karawane" (carawan) and "Wahnsinn" (madness), it only works in German, in English it would be "Caramadness" or something and wouldn't sould half as good.

As for my own Hoards, I am nearly like 99% done with setting up the groups and finally can split up my giantic Possible Hoard Group. I am so happy ^.^

I'm somehow hoarding this litter. Just couldn't stop trading for them. I can't quite decide on a goal, but I love them a lot already.

Yay, a Giant's Causeway dog! I immediately went to look at my photos of the Giant's Causeway in Antrim and Fingal's Cave on Staffa when I saw tonight's outcome. The dog is a 'must-hoard'! I happened to adopt 5 myself, so I have already got 4 extras for my hoard. <3

item hoarders!! how do you deal with your item hoards? do you use a single pet, multiple pets per item, or do you just...have a lot of one item? i happened to get a...large amount of sunflowers since i really like & use the item, so im guessing its a hoard now haha. but i dont know how to handle it!!

I semi-hoard these hoodies; My goal is to get 20 of them, I'm currently at 7 total.
It's not really a top priority hoard, but I get a new one of them now and then.
To answer your question: I almost treat the item hoard as a pet-hoard, where I
keep one of the items on one pet. (Click on either of the two dogs to see the
entire group). This approach may not work as well with the sunflowers, seeing
as they are a bit smaller items. You could however add them to something really
small, like the PPS dwarf hamsters, PPS chickens, or PPS rats, and do a semi-pet
hoard at the same time as the item hoard.

Speaking of item hoards, I always wanted to hoard the raven items from Halloween
2016, and keep them on PPS dwarf hamsters, like this:

I have never actively traded for items before, so I'm a bit scared to jump into hoarding
items (the hoodies I've mostly just gotten from swapping the other hoodies for that one).
I'm not good with item rarities either, but I really like these items. I think they would
look very cool together in a group.

My item hoards usually go along with my pet hoards - 20 each then and I try to find a fitting hoard pet. :3
Or I have a new hoard pet and then think about a fitting dressup!

For example these dogs which all have the same item (flower cape):

Sometimes the hoard pets came first and sometimes my item hoard came first and I just waited or searched for the perfect pet to use them on. ^^

I usually collect 20 of any item I hoard. I then put the items with a matching pet like I have done with my apples (completed hoard: 20/20) and my penguins (ongoing hoard: 14/20).

i've come a long way since the start of my hoard about two years ago! i've officially hit a huge threshold: 9000 bobtails.
thanks to a huuuuge gift from targaryen (they sent me over 2000 bobtails!!) and several large off-site trades recently, i have come so far. i only need 6000 more to meet my goal of 15000!
