Very unfair to you. The lion isn't even enough for a toxic, you can get more for a toxic. And there's no list pets included In their side.

Trading is more than just getting more rares. Different rares have different values. ^^;
I would totally go for it. While the Tribal doesn't have a great demand, I think it's still a good trade up based on the demand of your pets. The only one that has a pretty good demand is the Rose Dog, as the others are pretty difficult to trade off based on my past experiences with them.
