Tonight's egg kinda looks like a crystal or a diamond. And the artist said the lava egg was very misleading...maybe that one will be a gem that forms from lava?

Maybe they're Crystal Gem / Gemsona chickens

About the Crystal Gem thing: My thoughts exactly,and that's what I'm mostly hoping for right now. xD
But I wouldn't be surprised if there was yet another twist for this litter. Whatever they'll be,they'll look awesome. If the eggs are already awesome,then surely the chicks and adults will look the same way!

I hope the eggs are elements. In my opinion, I don't really want an EPPS rock- they just look like a literal pile of intestines to me ._. But I wouldn't mind a PPS egg! They're so pretty, especially the blue ones that grew tonight.

Maybe the eggs are based off the aftermath of lava or something? And the lava on the first one will be hardened?
Still doesn't really explain how it's based on something Saikiyo likes...that or maybe the chickens are based off of gemstones underground hence the lava/magma on the first one. yesss, Steven Universe

edit: if it's loosely based off something Saikyo likes, and they like watching cartoons, it could be based off of Steven Universe. .-.

All I can say is lucky you >,< I am still yet to get any growths in any species, also I am so confused as to what the eggs will turn out like XD
