OMG。 My friend was managing my account for me and she traded away my banana！！！！
I am so upset。 It was for a random cat， and now someone else has it。
The cat was a advent calendar common。
I’m actually crying now。 If someone can help me get it back?

Any more advice? I'm really worried.

The only thing you can do is PM the new owner and see if they'll give it back. But they are under no obligation to give it back, and they didn't break any rules when they traded for it. Maybe they'll be nice and return it, but if they don't, there's nothing you can do, sorry.

I'll make a rant about trading as newbies. I joined late August, only really got into trading this month. I say that because I finally figured out "Hey! If someone offers me something I don't like, I can EDIT it and CHANGE THE OFFER to something else!" Since then I totally love trading, but I'm also kicking myself for not collecting trade fodder earlier or not editing trades earlier on. I've gotten so many pets I've wanted and possibly could've gotten some much earlier. (I'm also hoping I'm not just in a lucky spot right now due to the Advent Calendar.)

And a little off topic, but I've been lurking around this thread for a while and I've always wondered: Have the people featured in these instances ever posted on this thread from their perspective? Like people come in ranting how unfair it was that no one would hand over a zebra because they had no rares? (Unfortunately I would find such postings very...interesting...to follow.)

Anyway, this thread is way too entertaining, I can't believe some of these offers! xD

As for the person with the banana, I hope you get it sorted out. That's awful. D:

so i sent a trade for someone's orange spot cat from today offering a red spot cat. fair trade, right?

they edit it and put in my UR pup and a new shop dog newborn. message "Mabey one of those newborns too? Thanks " (the smiley face was in the message)
wth? the person wants a rare newborn and a common AC cat for their common AC cat?

i edited it back with just the red spot cat. message "umm... no, that wouldn't be fair"

i wanted to say way worse things, but i somehow restrained myself

D: I was so clueless with trading, so I traded away my extra Blue-eyed Black Advent for...almost NOTHING. Which I'm probably still kicking myself for too. I traded away some Rares for nothing. (I'm glad I still have Charcoal and didn't trade him away. <3)

That was up until I began reading rarity threads and learning the ways of getting dream pets.
Now I love trading...I'm actually kind of addicted to it. Sometimes I tend to overtrade value. xD I'm also still kicking myself for that.

Good luck with the banana issue, though.

I have another one I found from a while back. It's not as bad as some, but it was canceled.

Them: 7 commons and 2 very common dogs
Me: Uncommon PPS, uncommon rat, and uncommon bunny

Another (Slightly worse)
Them: rare cat (wishlist)
Me: 3 rare dogs, very rare bunny, 3 common cats, 1 wig, 1 pair of socks, 2 bracelets, and one black cat

I wanted the cat but I wasn't that desperate for it

See those pets in my sig? The moondog, zebra and sorbet newborns? Thing is they're not actually ON my account. I adopted them logged out because the rereleased pets I got were crap and I wanted to see what else I could get.

Now people have been sending me PMs asking me what I would like to trade for them...

I'm actually having quite a bit of fun with this...

I just tentatively sent back a trade edit to someone who has been notoriously awful to me before. I think they've forgotten that they tried to trade with me before, but I sure haven't. Who knows, maybe something good will come out of it... doubt it XD

I believe my rant isn't nowhere near as bad as others here. But here it comes!

Someone asked me what i wanted for my two and my only Day 18 Advents,, offering nothing. Of course i declined, with a friendly message something like, 'Sorry i'm not trading my advents'.

Some 15 minutes later, i receive the same thing from another user asking for the same pets, offering the same nothing, asking almost exactly the same question. It drives me nuts! They both even included a specific 'word' in both trades...Which makes me think its a double account. Trying to get the good of me. But failed. Mwahaha...
