Thor is a Norse god right - and he's associated with a hammer - and this dog has a hammer -

and I know it's a modern hammer but maybe that's to throw us off? would be really funny if this dog grew to be super dramatic and with a huge lightning hammer and everything from its current form XD (I knowww the costume and stuff make little sense but still)

If we were going that route for this pup, I would say it looks more like Hephaestus - God of the forge, smithing, volcanoes etc. - of Greek mythology. c: I think he was said to be disfigured, one side of the face is currently unseen and there are bandages so perhaps one side of it's face will be disfigured or something, or underneath the bandages?
I'm not sure of this, but I would guess that over Thor, personally. o:

Yeahh, I only dabble really but he is a lesser known God I think? Not as popular as Zeus or Poseidon or anything. :'D
It would be really cool if that's what this pup was based on though! Either way I hope I get it, I love the hair~

I know this wasn't from today's growths, but I feel like the overall design of this pup is strangely familiar.



Not implying a connection to the artist, but it reminds me of Atwood's avatar/custom.



Maybe it's just me. There's some sort of pet in the past that looked like this, though, especially the hair part.

I think this is Pluma's, but I feel like based off of this that Pluma would select an under-appreciated god.....
I love Marvel and Marvel's Thor, but I think he's way over-done these days; I'd think if Pluma wanted to share their love of the non-Marvel version gods with us, they would select a less well-recognized one to share with us and raise the traditional tales without the added Marvel hype.... x:

i joked that one of my newborns would be either jack or bernouli's on the very first day and that one still hasn't grown yet... i hope one of their outcomes hasnt grown yet and that that pup is one of theirs bc i think that would be hilarious haha

Hephaestus's father is Zeus, the lightning/thunder/sky God.

Broken hearts could easily be how he is married to Aphrodite but she's in love with Ares, or the fact his mother Hera rejected him.

That would be sooo cool! I wish they would do a Greek and/or Roman themed litter or summer event.
