i think an easy way to combat the accessibility issues that people have with site change pranks would be to have an option on the front page that prompts if you want to enable the site prank or keep it disabled. perhaps have a spoiler-type box that details the changes so any users worried about how it may affect screen readers or site accessibility can just.. opt out of it, if they think it will be an issue. i think april fools pranks are super fun and i was disappointed there was no silly site changes made, even if it was something relatively simple. i did like the item prank though, you can tell staff put a lot of work into it and it turned out so cool!<3
